The Paranormal Might Be More Normal Than You Realize
When the paranormal smacks you right between the eyes with things that challenge your belief system of "this can't be happening", it's time to shift both belief system and lifestyle. There are a number of reasons that paranormal activities seem to be on the rise and there are lots of things you can do about whatever may be causing a problem in your own life. The first thing to realize is that yes, it indeed CAN and IS happening to you, your family, and your friends. Places can be 'haunted' and so can people and animals.
Before hysteria sets in though, take a look at the science behind what may be happening. It really is science, and not of the woo-woo type, but rather of the quantum physics realm. Things may seem magical and other-worldly when one does not understand the physics behind such things. As physicist Richard Alan Miller says, "Physics is the new Magic." As we learn more about quantum physics and the Laws of the Universe, we move out of superstitions and into the realm of the non-local mind and the real magic of manifestation into reality.
The main problem that disbelief causes is that of shutting the mind to what is real. Those people who scoff at paranormal things because they have never experienced what they think of as 'nonsense' have actually shut off that portion of the brain that allows one to observe that band of frequencies. Our brains process over 16 million bytes of information per second and we are conscious of only about three to five...bytes, not million. There is a whole lot of information going on around us that we are blissfully unaware of.
Sometimes that closure is a good thing-better that than having such an open mind that it can't be turned off. A good portion of people in mental institutions have that problem of being too open. Without proper training in how to close off to the lower frequencies, people go crazy...literally. Some of that inability comes from lacking the proper brain chemistry and some comes from the pineal gland producing too much DMT (dimethyltryptamine), which has been dubbed "the God molecule". DMT is a natural hallucinogen analogous to serotonin and the parent amino acid is L-tryptophan, which is found in such innocent foods as milk and turkey. Some people just naturally produce a large amount of this substance and hence exhibit some interesting psychic talents.
